3. Shared Benefit – By participating, you acknowledge that recorded materials may be shared publicly to educate and inspire others about this practice.

4. No-Filming Sessions – To honor group dynamics, certain sessions may be designated as no-filming or limited-filming periods. Please follow the team’s guidance regarding when personal recording is permitted.

What to bring:

• Comfortable, light neautral clothing for summer (creams, nudes etc. - no loud, colourful, printed clothing)

Weather: December is one of the best times to visit Egypt! You'll experience the cool, pleasant winter season with mild, sunny days and crisp evenings. It's the perfect weather for exploring ancient monuments without the intense heat.

• Average Temperatures:

  • Daytime highs: around 70°F (21°C)

  • Nighttime lows: around 50°F (10°C)

• Rainfall: Very low chance of rain, especially in Upper Egypt (Luxor, Aswan). Cairo might see a few drizzles, but significant rainfall is rare.

• Humidity: Generally low and comfortable across the country.

• Sunshine: Expect plenty of sunshine, with an average of 8-9 hours of sun per day.

• Nile Cruises: This is an ideal time for a Nile cruise, with comfortable temperatures for relaxing on the deck.

This excellent weather ensures you can fully enjoy exploring the majestic temples, tombs, and pyramids in complete comfort.

Currency & Payments:

• Currency: The Egyptian Pound (EGP or LE). It is advisable to have local currency on hand.

• ATM Machines: Widely available in cities and tourist areas. Inform your bank of your travel plans beforehand.

• Credit Cards: Accepted at most hotels, larger restaurants, and cruise ships. However, smaller shops, local markets (souks), and taxis will require cash.

• Tipping: Tipping, known as "baksheesh" in Egypt, is an essential and expected part of the culture. It's not just a reward for excellent service but a standard practice for almost any small service rendered. Here is a practical guide to how much to tip in Egypt, broken down by service.

Getting Around:

• Taxis & Ride-Hailing: Use ride-hailing apps like Uber or Careem in Cairo and other major cities for convenient, cashless travel. Always agree on a price with regular taxis before starting your journey.

• Domestic Flights: The most efficient way to travel between Cairo, Luxor, and Aswan.

• Trains: A good option for travel between Cairo and major cities like Alexandria.

Culture & Etiquette:

• Dress Modestly: Egypt is a predominantly Muslim country. It is respectful to cover your shoulders and knees, especially when visiting mosques and local markets.

• Tipping (Baksheesh): Tipping is a deeply ingrained part of the culture for services rendered. Have small bills available for guides, drivers, hotel staff, and restaurant servers.

• Bargaining: Expected in markets (souks). Start at about half the asking price and negotiate with a smile. It is a social interaction, not a confrontation.

Health & Safety:

• Drinking Water: Do not drink tap water. Always drink bottled water, which is widely available.

• Food Safety: Eat at reputable establishments. Be cautious with street food; choose vendors that are busy with locals.

• General Safety: Egypt is very safe for tourists. However, be aware of your surroundings, especially in crowded areas, to avoid pickpockets.

Other Practicalities:

• Electrical Plugs: The standard voltage is 220V. Egypt uses Type C and Type F plugs (the two-round-pin plugs common in Europe). A universal adapter is recommended.

• Sun Protection: The sun can still be strong. Bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.

• Respectful Photography: It is forbidden to take photos inside some tombs and museums (check for signs). Always ask for permission before taking photos of people, especially locals.

1. Are solo travelers safe / welcome? Yes, solo travelers are absolutely safe and welcome on our retreats. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, inclusive environment where everyone feels comfortable and supported, whether you're joining us on your own or with a group of friends.

2. Can you arrange an airport transfer? How far is it from the airport? We'd be happy to pick-you up at the airport. The hotel is located about 1.5 hours by car from Cairo International Airport. 

3. What is the average age range? The average age range for our retreats is around 33 years old. We welcome adults of all ages, from young professionals to retirees, who are seeking a transformative experience.

4. How many people will be on the retreat? Our retreats are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of 10 guests, to ensure an intimate, personalized experience.

5. Is a shorter or longer stay possible?  While we don't offer shorter or longer stay, you're welcome to extend your stay after the Masterclass ends. Just let us know your preferred dates and we can assist with arranging.

6. Do you encourage digital disconnection?  At our energy healing sessions, phones must be switched off to create a sacred, distraction-free space for profound transformation. Digital disconnection is essential for integrating the shifts - trust the process and be present, where the magic happens.

7. How is the vibe? The Masterclass vibe is one of deep self-exploration, surrounded by a supportive community of like-minded individuals ready to embark on their own transformative journeys, creating a sacred, energetically-charged space for profound personal growth and awakening.

  • Cancellations made 60+ days before the retreat start date will receive a 50% refund of the total amount paid (excluding the non-refundable deposit)

  • In the event of natural disaster, war, or other force majeure factors that prevent the trip from proceeding safely before departure, The Extra Club reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the trip. In such cases, a refund of up to 50% of the total amount will be provided.

  • The Extra Club reserves the right to terminate a participant's involvement in the activity if their performance poses a danger to themselves or others. No compensation will be provided in such cases.

• Itinery Changes:
